There is no place like Nebraska!— Zach McCaleb (@Surf2Summit) May 22, 2018
She and Oregon were my favorites so glad she won. I was sure that California was going to win earlier since she seemed to have the everything they loved. I think what saved Nebraska was her amazing final answer. The other two flubbed it hard.— oPhoenixL (@oPhoenixL) May 22, 2018
Viewers also got to cast their votes online. The top five contestants asked one another the question in the final portion of the night.Twitter user named Janet wrote ‘Well spoken cutie patootie from my home state! She earned her way there ... congrats!’
Manny wrote, ‘Congrats!!! She’s so pretty and humble!’
