Regina gained fame by portraying the role of Dana in the film “Friday”, but is also fondly remembered as Brenda from the television series “227”. She clearly has a strong bond with her 22-year-old son. During an appearance on ‘The View’ Regina revealed they share similar tattoos. The actress showed off the tattoo, which is on the lower part of her arm, to the audience.

The tattoo, written in Aramaic, means unconditional love. Regina and her son were taking Kaballah classes and during this time her son suggested they choose three tattoos each. Without showing each other what they chose, they’d reveal the tattoos to each other and whichever one matched would be the one they would get.

During a “CNN Red Chair Interview” in 2011, Regina explained what she thought unconditional love means. She said you can only know the true meaning of the word after you have become a mother. This is also the time when you truly appreciate your parents and realize all they have done.

“You don't know what unconditional love is. You may say you do, but if you don't have a child, you don't know what that is. But when you experience it, it is the most fulfilling ever. So, that is the greatest part about me. Being a mom to Ian."

Regina King is an accomplished actress and director, but first and foremost a doting mother. Do you also think Regina looks too youthful to be the mother of an adult son?
