Alec Baldwin's wife shared a picture of their newborn son

Despite being elated with the birth of her new child, Romeo, Hilaria Baldwin is undergoing troublesome experiences that seem ‘foreign’ to her.

The Spain-born wellness expert and wife of actor Alec Baldwin, Hilaria Baldwin, shared a cute picture of her newborn child, Romeo, on Instagram and detailed the illness that has gripped her family.

The 34-year-old mother-of-four revealed that after eight days of her pregnancy, she was diagnosed with pneumonia. Her children, 2-year-old Rafael Thomas Baldwin and 1-year-old Leonardo Baldwin, caught the flu.

Her 4-year-old daughter, Carmen Baldwin, also was under the weather as she returned home from school with a pink eye.

Hilaria expressed that the family-of-six has had a very adventurous week with extreme highs and lows. She said that her family rarely got sick and it was tedious to quarantine such a big family.

Hilaria posted a picture of herself holding her baby boy who had calmly fallen asleep in his mother’s arms.

The founder of Yoda Vida disclosed that her family was on the mend and was sure that her family would bounce back from this little blip in their lives.

She hoped that her family would one day look back at this time and share a hearty laugh.

Despite her current troubles of nurturing her newborn with an illness and considerable lack of sleep, Hilaria looked forward to the renewed health of her family.

She said that she is trying to remain as calm as possible and her experience with soothing breathing exercises have come in handy in such trying times. She ended her post with an optimistic hashtag #WeGotThis2018.

Hilaria and Alec Baldwin tied the knot in 2012 and are proud parents of four children. Romeo was born last week and Hilaria mentioned that he was ‘super healthy’ and ‘a complete joy’ since his birth.
