Niecy Nash stuns in African-inspired outfit with mom & daughters in recent photo

Actress and comedian Niecy Nash shined while posing among three generations of her family. Her mother looks fantastic and her two daughters clearly take after her. The ladies' outfits were reminiscent of gracious and gorgeous African queens.

Celebritist learned from “Instagram” that the 48-year-old Niecy wore her trademark wide smile while showcasing her assets in the African-inspired outfit. She captioned the photo by emphasizing the fact that her mother looks fantastic and is doing well. The photo was taken at Niecy and her husband Jay Tucker's 7th anniversary celebrations.

Niecy shot to fame as host of the Style Network’s “Clean House”. Her long list of film and television appearances speaks of an actress and comedian that always has a steady stream of work. During a 2014 interview with “Closer” Niecy revealed the hardships she faced on her road to becoming one of the most loved actresses and personalities of our time.

“In 1985, I found my mother after she was shot by her boyfriend. In 1993, I buried my brother, and in 2006 I got divorced after 16 years.”

Niecy was married to ordained minister Don Nash and the couple share three children: Dominic, Donielle, and Dia.

Although Niecy’s mom survived the shooting incident, she fell into a deep depression after Niecy’s brother was killed.

“When my brother was killed, my mother was in a severe depression, and one day before my 23rd birthday, I was at a loss and didn’t know what to do. What I did know was I had the ability to make my mother laugh.”

Niecy’s efforts paid off. At first her mother went from lying to sitting up in bed. One day the actress got a surprise when she came into her mother’s room and found that she wasn’t there. She was, in fact, in the living room and had invited the neighbors over to watch her daughter perform stand-up.

Niecy made the decision that she wanted to spread this joy throughout the world and perhaps help other people who were also suffering. The actress explained that although she can’t change the events of the past, she chooses happiness in her life.
