Princess Eugenie dons elegant floral dress and high heels during recent public appearance
She rarely takes part in official royal engagements, but stepped out in a beautiful dress recently at a public event.
Princess Eugenie joined her sister, Princess Beatrice, her cousin, Prince William, and her uncle, Prince Edward, at Buckingham Palace on May 24 for the presentation of the Duke of Edinburgh Awards.
It is the season of garden parties in the United Kingdom, meaning that the royal family has plenty of commitments to attend to. Eugenie decided to celebrate the season through her flowery outfit choice.
As reported by Town & Country, the princess opted for a white wrap dress by Alice & Olivia. It features a bright array of flowers across the pattern, with a deep v-neckline and a sash to hold the dress together around the waist.
The wrap fell just above her knees at the front, flirting with the general royal dresscode as she showed off her lower thighs, and down to mid-calf length at the back. Covering her arms were the elbow-length sleeves of the number.
The dress comes in at $440 at Nordstrom.
Eugenie completed the look with a pair of black and nude strappy heels with a pointed toe. She left her short hair hanging loose, with a pair of drop earrings peeking out behind the dark waves. She kept her makeup looking natural.
The Duke of Edinburgh Awards celebrates 3,000 young people from the United Kingdom who have participated in a special program that promotes personal development in areas such as volunteering and sports.
Others who were in attendance at the event were actor John Bradley from Game of Thrones and comedian Stephen Merchant.
Prince Edward was spotted wearing the same cat tie that he wore to Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex's wedding on May 19, and also to his own wedding in 1999.
