In Touch Weekly: Meri Brown allegedly leaves Kody and sister wives for new man

The star of Sister Wives, Meri Brown, is said to have finally moved on in life. She’s rumored to have found a new man and is living peacefully away from her ex-husband Kody Brown.

Her 24-year-old marriage came to a legal end in 2014. However, the following year she was involved in a scandal that shook her ‘spiritual union’ to her husband according to In Touch Weekly.

Meri Brown, 47, is said to have found a new man and a new life in Utah. The drama she experienced these last few years is finally over.

She appears to have finally built a life away from her estranged husband and his three other wives, Janelle, Christine, and, Robyn. The reality star previously fled her native Utah for Las Vegas, in order to escape persecution under Utah’s strict anti-polygamy laws when she married her husband.

Rumors say she’s staying at her great-grandparents’ home that’s now a bed and breakfast. Despite having started a new life, Meri is still trying to build a friendship with Kody for the sake of the reality show.

They got married in April 1990, and brought in their first additional wife, Janelle, in 1993. Christine joined the following year.

The pair ended their legal marriage in September 2014 so that the father-of-14 children could legally marry his newest wife, Robyn. The government only recognized one ‘legal’ marriage of Kody’s.

However, he has ‘spiritual unions’ with all of his wives. After their marriage was legally over, Meri was hit by a catfish scandal.

In May 2015, months after her divorce was finalized, she began talking to a man on Twitter named Sam Cooper, behind Kody's back. Their conversations eventually turned romantic.

It all came crumbling down after six months when Meri learned that ‘Sam’ was actually a woman named Jackie Overton, who was a known con-artist. It’s been reported that the star’s life is much different now with her new man.

He’s said to be a close friend of one of her sisters’ husbands. Her man is blue collar, not a fame seeker, and a nice person.
