Donald Trump shares photo with Kim Kardashian after 'great meeting' at the White House
After a productive meeting with Kim Kardashian, President of the United States Donald Trump shared a photo with the celebrity at the Oval Office.
Donald Trump granted Kim Kardashian-West a meeting at the Oval Office last Wednesday, as they talked about prison reform and sentencing. Trump, 71, shared a photo of him and Kardashian, 37, on Twitter following their meeting.
“Great meeting with @KimKardashian today, talked about prison reform and sentencing.”
While the KKW beauty mogul had plenty of photos to choose from, she decided to share one of the presidential seal on the White House carpet on her Instagram story with the caption:
"Happy Birthday Alice Marie Johnson. Today was for you."
The mother-of-three wrote the same comment on Twitter, to pay tribute to the 62-year-old great-grandmother who was incarcerated in October 1996 for a first-time nonviolent drug offense after helping facilitate communications in a drug trafficking case.
Kardashian-West has been helping campaign for Johnson's presidential pardon.
Fans were stunned by the meeting that took place between the president and the socialite, expressing their comments on Instagram.
"I'm being serious when I ask: Why is Kim Kardashian of all people talking about reform and sentencing? I legit dont know. Please give me a real answer"
"Is this a joke? I love you Mr Trump, but come on. Kim? Really? I can’t even wrap my head around this one."
"I love President Trump...but a Kardashian at the WH? What could she possibly understand about prison reform?"
