Last Tuesday night, Caitlyn Jenner made sure to attend "On Her Own Terms", an event at the University of Oregon prepared solely for the transwoman to be able to tell her inspiring story, rocking a stunning outfit which included a white flowy top and tight pants. This appearance marks her first after missing the wedding of her own son, Brody Jenner.

Hundreds of people gathered at the University of Oregon to listen to Jenner's talk. The event, which was exclusive to university students and staff, featured a talk as well as a question-and-answer portion with Jenner and her publicist, Alan Nierob.

Throughout the entire event, Jenner kept going back to two questions that she claims has been her focus before, during, and after her transition.

"Can I make a difference in the world? Can I do this in a way that will make a difference?"

As Jenner and Nierob tried to focus on public relations during the talk, they spoke about the strategies they used when Caitlyn went public about being transgender in 2015.

Grace Howe, a Ph.D. student in the UO School of Journalism and Communication led the question-and-answer portion of the event.

Most of the questions asked by students and staff alike were on public relations as a career, the mechanics of public relations, and of course, life as a transgender woman in a heavy spotlight that people could never imagine.

At the end of the program, the ex-reality TV star, on behalf of the Caitlyn Jenner Foundation, provided Howe with a $10,000 check to help fund her transgender identity research. The foundation aims to promote equality and provide grants to organizations that work to support the lives of transgender people.

This event was one of the few reasons why Caitlyn Jenner missed his son Brody's wedding. Despite getting an invite to his son's wedding with Kaitlynn Carter in Bali, a representative of the Olympian said that he already had scheduled work commitments that he can't miss that hindered him from joining the celebration of love.

Caitlyn Jenner was married three times, first to Chrystie Jenner from 1972 to 1981, and then to Linda Thompson from 1981 to 1986, and lastly to Kris Jenner, from 1991 to 2015. Jenner has six children, two from each marriage: Burt, Casey, Brandon, Brody, Kendall, and Kylie.
