Three siblings perform a heartfelt song as tribute to their late mom
This sibling trio was inspired by their father's sibling band, and decided to form their own. When they lost their mother, they paid tribute to her with a beautiful song.
27-year-old Joshua, 24-year-old Bethany, and 21-year-old Manny are from McMinnville, Oregon. Two years ago, they lost their mother to cancer, and it inspired a hauntingly beautiful performance on America's Got Talent.
Their audition, posted to YouTube, shows them performing an original song that they wrote from their mother's perspective in the last month before she passed away.
Joshua plays the drums and the keyboard, while Bethany and Manny play the guitars and sing the lovely duet.
Their parents helped them set their band up, and their mother, who was also a beautiful singer, even made appearances with their father's band.
The piece that the trio wrote was named Heaven's Not Too Far Away, and left the judges, the show's host, Tyra Banks, their father, the audience, and even Joshua choking back tears.
Banks had a comforting hand on their father's shoulder as they stood in the wings and watched the moving performance by the youngster.
Not only is the song heartwrenching, but Bethany and Manny's voices are utterly beautiful, harmonizing perfectly through the touching tune.
By the time they finished their audition, the entire audience were on their feet offering them a standing ovation.
