Prince Harry's ex Cressida Bonas' only complaint about Royal wedding was the hats
Cressida Bonas wrote a blog about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding. She revealed that the hats bothered her the most.
Bonas attended the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's big day on May 19, 2018. Another ex of Harry's who was spotted in the widely-watched wedding was Chelsy Davy.
As reported by The Spectator, in a new blog post, Bonas has opened up about the royal wedding, her look at the event, and her only complaint — the hats.
Bonas wrote: 'Friends are starting to get married, which means the dilemma of British wedding attire.'
'Hats. Why do I find hats so tricky? Tricky to wear, tricky to look at, and extremely tricky for the poor soul sitting in the pew behind. Most of the time I avoid headgear. This can prompt disapproving looks from the older generations,' she added.
The theatre actress also talked about her attendance at Harry's gorgeous wedding ceremony.
'Last weekend I attended the royal wedding,' she wrote. 'The invitation clearly stated that guests must wear hats. Yikes. I opted for a minimal feathered number—and can only hope I got it right.'
Bonas appears to have already moved on from her past relationship with Harry.
Recently, it was revealed that the former couple shared a phone call with each other just a week prior to the royal wedding.
Born in Winchester, Hampshire, Bonas came from a wealthy family. She is descended from King Charles II. Her father is entrepreneur Jeffrey Bonas and her mother is the 1960s "It girl" Lady Mary-Gaye Curzon.
Aside from being a stage play actress, Bonas is also a brand ambassador for Burberry and Mulberry.
Prince Harry's cousin, Princess Eugenie, introduced Bonas to the prince in 2012.
Bonas and Harry's romantic relationship was largely kept private.
When they broke up in 2014, it was rumored that Bonas had been overwhelmed by the attention she was getting because of being Harry's potential wife.
