Michelle Obama has always been a wonderful source of support for her husband, Barack Obama, and an old photo from their wedding day shows they are still going strong.

The former First Lady took to Instagram to share the image of Barack taking off her garter belt during the wedding reception.

She also shared something interesting about the day, telling her followers that her husband had woken up sick that morning, nearly ruining the special occasion.

"You can’t tell it from this photo, but Barack woke up on our wedding day in October, 1992 with a nasty head cold. Somehow, by the time I met him at the altar, it had miraculously disappeared and we ended up dancing almost all night," she wrote.

But her caption went further than that, sharing that the couple is still just as much in love with one another as they were the day they said their "I do's."

"Twenty five years later, we’re still having fun, while also doing the hard work to build our partnership and support each other as individuals. I can’t imagine going on this wild ride with anybody else," she added.

Michelle has been sharing old family photos recently since she started working on her memoir, titled Becoming, which is set to release in November.

She shared that the experience of writing the memoir has been extremely personal for her, and that it has allowed her to reflect on the unexpected trajectory her life has taken.

Michelle hopes that her book will be inspirational to others, as it shows how a shy, quiet little girl managed to develop her voice in a way that allowed her to use it to empower other people.

She also shared that her childhood was not filled with everything that opens and shuts, but that her parents worked hard to give her everything that she could need.

“They weren’t fancy folks. But we had a good childhood, living in a little, bitty apartment. What girls and young people need… is consistent love and support and the belief of somebody out there that they’re worthy. I had that,” she said.

Becoming is the second book to be released by Michelle, following her 2012 book American Grown. The first book focused on her garden at the White House and her nutrition initiatives.
