Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi share photos of their dream holiday in Africa
Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi have been trekking through Africa for the past week and living one of the talk-show host's long-cherished dreams.
In honor of DeGeneres' admiration for conversationist Dian Fossey, de Rossi established the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund in Rwanda.
The couple traveled to Africa to establish a sanctuary for the mountain gorillas as part of the Ellen DeGeneres Wildlife Fund.
The talk show host has posting snaps of their experience on Twitter and revealed that finally coming face to face with a mountain gorilla had been life-changing.
“I can’t begin to describe what this experience was like, or how much it means to me. I’m so grateful.”
