Carrie Underwood's husband shared a new photo of their son and he is not a baby anymore
Country singer Carrie Underwood and her retired ice hockey player husband, Mike Fisher, regularly shares photos of their 3-year-old son, Isaiah, on Instagram.
Underwood and Fisher met in 2008 during one of her concerts and tied the knot two years later. The couple welcomed Isaiah, affectionately nicknamed Izzy, in February 2015.
Three months after his birth, Fisher shared the first 'selfie' of his young son. He wrote 'me and my little man' in the caption, and used the hashtag 'life is good.'
Since then, Fisher has been sharing regular updates with his 400,000 Instagram followers. When scrolling through his feed, it is clear to see that Isaiah is growing up so fast!
Fisher was a center for the Nashville Predators from 2011 and announced his retirement from professional ice hockey in May. He now gets to spend his free time with his son.
His most recent upload is dated June 3rd and shows Fisher standing behind Isaiah, helping him to hold a bow. Fisher captioned the adorable snapshot 'Eye on the target.'
He also included the hashtag 'flinging sticks' and Proverbs 22:6. The photo received more than 55,000 likes in less than two days, and fans were quick to point out how adorable Isaiah was.
He wore a blue t-shirt with the slogan 'Sun's out, guns out,' and Instagram user Susie Neider said she loves 'his little shirt,' while Diane Morse said it's 'adorable.'
Brenda Lee said he was 'a cutie,' and added that her son would be eight soon, but she wishes he was still 'a little one.'
Lynn Mead concurred, adding that Isaiah 'is such a handsome little guy.'
The scripture Fisher shared with the post aptly teaches: 'Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old, they will not turn from it.'
In May, Fisher also shared a short video clip about 'catching turkeys' and said in the caption that it was a 'proud dad moment.' For news about the adorable family, follow our Twitter account, AmoMama USA.
