Kelly Clarkson's incredible weight loss story has surprised many but she has 'literally not worked out at all.'
Singer Kelly Clarkson revealed her secret to her weight loss when she gave an interview to Extra's special correspondent Alecia Davis during the 2018 CMT Music Awards in Nashville on Thursday, June 7.
Clarkson was accompanied by country artist Kaleb Lee and his wife Meaghan on the red carpet where Davis got hold of her for a quick interview.
The Voice coach shared that her weight gain was due to her autoimmune disease along with her thyroid issues.
She is not taking any medication as her levels were back to normal. She added that her weight loss did not involve any exercise.
“I’m not working out! I think people think I’m working out and I’m like, ‘Don’t think I’m going to come play some sport!’"

Clarkson revealed that she read a book called The Plant Paradox by Steven R. Gundry, MD, that discussed the right way to cook food, and the usage of non-GMO, non-pesticide, and organic products.
The Love So Soft singer was seen in a svelte figure in the latest season of The Voice. She had a sense of humor about her weight loss whenever anybody asked her about it.
As reported by People, Clarkson joked in an interview that she had hired Harry Potter and SPANX as her 'glam squad' that made it possible for her to look slimmer.
Clarkson has not only proved to be an accomplished singer but has showcased her capabilities of being an incredible mentor. She helped 15-year-old Brynn Cartelli win the latest season of The Voice.
Cartelli became the youngest winner of the singing competition by winning the 14th season of The Voice. The record was held by Danielle Bradberry in Season 4 and Sawyer Fredericks in Season 8. Both were 16.
