La La Anthony's grown up son looks just like his mother in new photo with sweet gift

La La Anthony's son is as good looking as both his parents. The proud mother shared a photo of her only child, adding several emojis to signify her emotions at him being a sixth grader already. They grow so fast, don’t they?

Kiyan Anthony is only 10 but he looks taller for his age. Of course, that comes with the territory, being the son of a 2.03m tall basket baller, Carmelo Anthony. His mother, La La Anthony couldn’t be prouder of her growing son, albeit a little sad that he is growing up too fast. She posted a photo of the sixth grader getting ready to move a level higher in his education and it was clear from all the emojis she used that he is her world.

La La and her baby daddy, Carmelo Anthony got married in 2010 but split in 2017. Despite their breakup, none of them seems ready to start dating again. La La told Us Magazine she wasn’t ready to start dating on again since she is focused on other things. “I’m just really, just open to focusing on … my son and what he’s doing. That’s where I put my energy and my focus right now. With all of my workload and my son’s schedule, I really don’t have time for anything else.”

Carmelo’s team did not make it to the champions, but La La sees it as a blessing in disguise. Even though she is sad that the team is out for the season, she is glad that he has more time for their son.

“When your love for your kid is at the center of everything, you can’t go wrong. So we’re focusing on showering him with love, and it’s great that Melo’s … it’s not great that he’s not in the championship, in the finals. We would’ve loved that. But it’s great that he’s back in New York, now, and present for all the practices and games and school trips, and everything for our son. That’s something that we’re really happy about and my son is super happy to have his dad home right now.”

Despite being divorced, the two are co-parents that get along quite well.
