'Last Man Standing' star Nancy Travis will be joining 'The Ranch'

Nancy Travis from Last Man Standing surprised The Ranch fans with her guest appearance on the Netflix show.

With next batch of episodes dropping on the streaming platform on June 15th, avid viewers of The Ranch received an unexpected news of having Travis on the show.

Travis is widely known for her character on the Last Man Standing as Vanessa Baxter. On the promo photos of the new episodes of The Ranch, which have been initially released, Travis was revealed as a guest star.

The actress was seen having a scene with Maggie, played by Debra Winger, where Maggie can be seen deep in thought and looking at a distance.

Other preview photos also showed Ashton Kutcher, who plays Colt Bennett, Elisha Cuthbert, playing Abby Phillips, and Sam Elliott, who plays Bo Bennett. In the snapshots, Abby can be seen with her big baby bump.

The ten episodes that have been released will feature the final appearances of Danny Masterson, who was fired by Netflix in December 2017, after his previous cases of sexual assault resurfaced due to the emergence of the Me Too Movement.

Masterson was not featured in the promo shots but was seen on the trailer of what appeared to be the wedding of Colt and Abby.

Netflix had tweeted in the past to reveal Masterson’s exit on the series, writing, ‘As a result of ongoing discussions, Netflix and the producers have written Danny Masterson out of The Ranch. Yesterday was his last day on the show, and production will resume in early 2018 without him.’

Fans will have to watch the newly-released episodes to find out how Masterson is written off the series and if Travis will be appearing in only one episode or more.
