Ronnie DeVoe melts hearts with photo of twins in matching blue caps and denim shorts

The former New Edition member just celebrated his first Father’s Day and he and his wife couldn’t be happier to share adorable photos of their twin babies. Fans gushed about how much the boys are already looking like their dad.

Ronnie DeVoe first came into the spotlight in the mid-‘80s, as one of the members of the iconic boy group sensation New Edition. The group, formed by Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, Bobby Brown, Ralph Tresvant, and DeVoe, became one of the best-selling acts of the late ‘80s.

After the group’s separation in 1990, DeVoe joined Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins to form a new R&B/hip-hop group, Bell Biv DeVoe. They have been together since then, and their brotherhood is so tight that Ronnie and Ricky tied the knot in a double ceremony with their wives, Amy Bell and Shamari DeVoe in 2006.

These days, Ronnie splits his time between work and his family, as he’s currently enjoying the blessing of fatherhood with his eight-months-old twin babies, Roman and Ronnie III. The adorable kids have been stealing hearts on Instagram thanks to the photos shared by their parents, and fans are starting to notice the resemblance they share with dad.

Over the weekend, both Ronnie and Shamari shared beautiful photos of the babies to celebrate DeVoe’s first Father’s Day. In one of the pics, the twins are wearing denim shorts, white t-shirts with a handkerchief around their necks and matching blue hats.

DeVoe also shared a series of photos on Instagram wearing a black t-shirt with the caption “Husband. Daddy. Hero” written on it while holding his sons, who were wearing white t-shirts that said “Happy First Father’s Day.” The 50 years old singer took the time to thank all his fans for his wishes, and revealed that one of the twins already took his first steps:

“To everyone that reached out to me on my first #FathersDay, I say thank you from the bottom of my yah-mean! And, please forgive me for not answering my phone or returning text. I was caught up in the many moments including Roman taking his first 2 steps. YAH-MON!! Love Y'all 2 Life...!”

Shamari also shared her own celebratory post, sending a sweet message to her husband that says:

“The most important thing in the world is family and love. Happy First Father’s Day to my husband.”

Fans have been commenting on the twins’ resemblance to their parents, writing:
