Kim Kardashian and mom had a girls night out at the MTV Movie & TV Awards

Kim Kardashian West and Momager Kris Jenner rocked the red carpet during the MTV Movie & TV Awards while Kylie Jenner was a no-show.

The mother and daughter duo arrived at the awards show in Santa Monica, California on June 16th wearing smashing ensembles that turned many heads.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians stars appeared at the event to represent the family since their show was nominated for best reality series/ franchise.

Prior to the awards show proper, the 37-year-old KKW Beauty CEO and her 62-year-old mother stopped at the red carpet to pose for photos together.

As shared by People, Kardashian West chose to have her long, dark hair braided into cornrows.

For her ensemble, she walked into the venue wearing a white and silver attire.

Her top was a white, well-fitted, halter piece, which slightly showed her toned abs.

She paired it with a long, body-hugging, metallic, and glittering silver skirt that had a slit that started from the bottom reaching up to her thigh.

To finish the look, Kardashian West opted for gladiator-like, black heels.

As for Jenner, the family matriarch kept it simple yet chic with a white, double-breasted blazer and skinny, black pants.

She matched the ensemble with dark, suede boots that reached just above her knees.

Makeup mogul Kylie was also anticipated to make an appearance with her mother and older sister, but the 20-year-old new mom was absent.

With all the headlines the family has made over the past year, fans are looking forward to a brand new season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

Recently, E! Entertainment released a new trailer for the latest summer installment of the show.

The family, as usual, is involved in more drama as they have had three more additions - babies Chicago West, True Thompson, and Stormi Webster - into their ever-growing family.
