Kenya Moore shares photo with dad holding a cigar after not inviting him to her wedding

Actress and model Kenya Moore, best known for The Real Housewives of Atlanta, took to Instagram to share a photo of her and her father.

In the image, Moore is shown next to her father Ronald Grant wearing a long-sleeved white top and a pretty necklace. Grant, on the other hand, put on a plaid shirt and was smoking a cigar while looking at the camera.

Moore captioned the image wishing her father a happy Father’s Day. Apart from that, she revealed that the relationship she had with Grant has not been the best one.

Thankfully, they ‘made it through the tough times.’ Moore added that it didn’t matter how much time they spent apart from each other as they could find themselves. Finally, the reality star confessed that she always knew Grant loved her.

As soon as she posted that image, her fans and followers took to the comment section to share their thoughts. One of them was Instagram user Angella Philp, who said that the photo was sweet. She added that a girl wants to know that their father loves them.

When Moore got married to businessman and restaurant owner Marc Daly in June 2017, only a small group of people formed by the couple’s closest friends and family members were present. A fact that surprised many was that Grant was nowhere to be seen.

People reported that, at that time, Moore said that Grant was celebrating his birthday in Jamaica and, given the fact that their wedding was ‘so last-minute,’ he couldn’t make it.

The truth is different, though. During an episode of the tenth season of RHOA, Moore confessed that she decided not to invite Grant because she was afraid of what he could say.

Moore pointed out that Grant cannot be controlled and that the last thing she wanted during the most important day of her life was drama. Grant and his daughter managed to talk the problem through and, nowadays, they have a good relationship.
