Sanaa Lathan shares photo with father who used to date a popular 70's model

Actress and voice actress Sanaa McCoy Lathan, best known for Alien vs. Predator, took to Instagram to share a photo of her and her father on Father’s Day.

The image, which was taken a couple of years ago, showed a younger Sanaa wearing a black dressed covered by a matching coat next to her father Stan Lathan. The man chose a dark suit that was the perfect combination to his daughter’s dress.

In the caption, the actress wished Stan a happy Father’s Day. Later, Sanaa confessed to being thankful for receiving her father’s ‘constant love.’ She finished her post by saying that she loved Stan.

As soon as Sanaa posted that photo, her fans and followers took to the comment section to share their thoughts. One of them was Instagram user @maliagarcia, who pointed out that Stan was handsome.

Others took their time to remark how similar Sanaa and her father were. One of them was user @katoenlee, who confessed that the actress looked just like Stan.

Even though Sanaa is the celebrity of the family, Stan got to date with a famous 70s model several years ago.

The ‘lucky’ one was model Pat Evans, who appeared in the album covers of Isaac Hayes and The Ohio Players, reported I Love Old School Music.

One of the model’s fans asked Pat via Facebook what was her relationship to Sanaa, to what Pat replied that she knew her when the actress was about 3 or 4 years old because she used to date Stan.

The model gave more details of their relationship admitting that she and Stan would take their children to the loft of one of her friends so they could play together.

Finally, Pat revealed that Stan had been one of the three men in her life that she really loved because he was ‘extremely intelligent.’

Stan is a TV and film director and TV producer. At the moment, he is the producer and director of BET’s Real Husbands of Hollywood.
