Nicole Kidman surprised by Keith Urban's gift as actress turned 51
The country singer unfortunately had a concert to give on his wife's birthday, but decided to use it to create a special birthday message for her.
Nicole Kidman celebrated her 51st birthday on Wednesday, June 20. But on the day in question, her husband, Keith Urban, had a scheduled performance at Country USA Festival in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
As a result, the Fighter singer was unable to spend the day with his wife, and unable to spoil her rotten with a special birthday dinner for the occasion.
But as can be seen in an Instagram post from Kidman, Urban certainly didn't forget about his wife's birthday, and used his show as a way to make an even better birthday message for her.
During Urban's show, he requested that the crowd assist him in singing happy birthday to Kidman. He changed his phone camera into selfie mode, and recorded himself and thousands of fans singing.
The crowd, knowing Urban fondly refers to his wife as "baby girl," decided to sing the song as "happy birthday dear baby girl."
At the end of the video clip, Urban can be heard telling his Oscar-winning wife "There's nowhere like Wisconsin. Happy birthday!"

Other Hollywood A-listers also took to social media to wish the actress a happy birthday, including her Big Little Lies costar Reese Witherspoon and long-time friend Naomi Watts.
Witherspoon shared a lovely image of herself and Kidman enjoying a coffee together to her Instagram page.
"Happy Birthday to this remarkable woman who I’m lucky enough to work with and call my friend. Everyday with you is an inspiration! Keep shining bright, Nic!!" she captioned the shot.
