Tia Mowry shares candid photo of her post-pregnancy body 7 weeks after giving birth
Actress and host Tia Mowry, best known for Sister, Sister, took to Instagram to share a photo of her belly seven weeks after she gave birth to her second child.
The image showed Tia posing in front of a big mirror wearing black leggings and a white shirt. One of the most impressive features of the photo was Tia’s belly, who was so big that it seemed she was still pregnant.
However, the actress made sure to reveal in the caption that she was one of those women who take a little bit longer than seven weeks to lose the pregnant bump. She added that she was worried when her first child, Cree, was born because her stomach wouldn't go back to normal.
To make things worse, she would see other women in magazines rocking their bodies in a two-piece swimsuit right after giving birth.
Later, the actress pointed out that she took a while before embracing her new body. However, things changed with this recent pregnancy as she understood that she housed a human being.
To finish her post, Tia pointed out that it was okay if she had to take a while before being her usual self. ‘This is me, and I love me,’ she said.
As soon as she posted that photo, her fans and followers took to the comment section to praise the actress for sharing that photo. One of them was Instagram user @napturally_mimi, who admitted she was proud of Tia for being real as all women need to see that more often.
According to Romper, Tia gave birth to her second child with husband Cory Hardrict in early May. Apart from that, the couple has six-year-old son Cree Taylor, which means that she has her hands full with parenting.
The good thing is that Cory is always there to help her in whatever she might need. The couple has been married since 2008, and they share a loving relationship.
At the moment, the actress is focused on Tia Mowry at Home, which is a cooking show portraying Tia preparing fast and healthy meals while addressing many aspects of her life.
