In one of their first events as Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle debuted at Royal Ascot on June 20. Completely in love, they have made it clear that they are still in the stage of the honeymoon.

As Hello! USA reported, although it was an official event, they had no problem in sharing their affection. As a gentleman, the Prince explained to his wife all the details of the famous event, something that has been seen in his last appearances.

One of the moments that perfectly captured the essence of this romance was when Prince Harry approached each of the winners of the first day of competition to greet them, as it was evident that he did not want to let go of Markle’s hand for a second.

A picture of Harry stretching as much as he reached back to hold on to her intertwined fingers was made public and immediately the users of social media rushed to share their delight with the touching image.

‘Absolutely beautiful, it truly shows their love for one another,’ wrote a user on Instagram. ‘So sweet! Please, Prince Harry, don’t stop…’ wrote another. ‘May they Always keep holding Hands,’ someone else added

Harry’s relaxed attitude towards Royal protocol was shown soon after, when the winning jockey, Frankie Dettori, faithful to his personality gave a coquettish kiss to Markle’s hand as he went to receive his award.

Laughing, the prince moved his finger to the rider in a negative sign, feigning a reprimand for his attitude towards the Duchess.

This was the first Royal Ascot of Harry and Meghan as husband and wife, which made all eyes focus on them.

The images from the event say a little more about the formal union that the world witnessed just a month ago, when they swore eternal love in the St. George's Chapel of Windsor Castle. Read more on our Twitter account @amomama_usa
