The actress has a 10-year-old daughter, Nahla, with one of her former partners, Gabriel Aubry. The couple began dating in 2005 but parted ways five years later.
They were embroiled in a custody battle which took a turn for the worse when Hally wanted to move Nahla to Paris after she started dating Olivier Martinez.
Aubry contested the move, stating that he would not be able to see his daughter anymore. It escalated to the point when Aubry and Martinez were involved in a physical confrontation.
Martinez got a restraining order to keep Aubry away from himself, Halle or Nahla. The custody case was later settled amicably, and both parents agreed where and how to raise Nahla.
Berry married Martinez in 2013, and the couple welcomed their son, Maceo, that same year, Daily Mail reported.
They have since announced their intention to divorce, but the case hasn't been finalized yet.
Fans of Berry can be looking forward to her upcoming appearance in John Wick 3: Parabellum. She was cast as Sofia, alongside Keanu Reeves.
The production team are already filming and the action thriller, also starring Asia Kate Dillon, Laurence Fishburne, and Anjelica Houston will be released in 2019.
