Melyssa Ford suffers serious injury after brutal car crash with 18-wheeler
Hip Hop model and actress Melyssa Ford, best known for Blood, Sweat & Heels was involved in a life-threatening car accident. Her friends took to Instagram to share the news.
On June 30, one of Ford’s best friends, Maryam Iman, uploaded a couple of photos of herself next to the model. Even though the pictures were beautiful, the most significant part if the slideshow was its caption.
Iman revealed that on June 29, Ford got clipped by an 18 wheeler, which made her Jeep flip three times. Given the fact that she was wearing her seatbelt, she survived the crash, but she sustained severe head injuries.
Ford fractured her skull and got a concussion and bleeding in her brain. Iman revealed that seeing her friend in the hospital made her think about how short life is.
After pointing out that she was disgusted by those people who made fun of a person who just got an accident, Iman revealed that Ford got a 10-inch-open wound surgically closed with staples and stitches, as well as several abrasions in her body.
Finally, Iman urged people to send Ford love and good wishes during this painful moment of her life. She was not the only person who posted something related to the accident.
Former Real Housewives of Atlanta castmate Claudia Jordan posted a photo showing Ford’s vehicle flipped over and a couple of people helping the model. In the caption, Jordan admitted Ford gave her permission to post that photo.
Jordan added that Ford couldn’t remember what happened as she had a huge gash in her head and blood on the brain, so she urged her followers and anybody who might have seen something to contact her for information.
Ford has appeared in music videos for Jay-Z, Usher, Alicia Keys, and some others. She also starred in the reality show Blood, Sweat & Heels for two seasons, and worked on the films Turned It Up, Love For Sale, and Think Like A Man.
