Michelle Obama stuns in white caught at secret power lunch with Kerry Washington

Former First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama and actress Kerry Washington were spotted together having lunch at a Beverly Hills hotspot.

TMZ reported that both women had lunch at Spago Beverly Hills on June 28, only a month after it was announced that Michelle and former POTUS Barack Obama would be working next to Netflix on an undisclosed number of films and series for the company.

Michelle, who chose a white ensemble and black sunglasses, left the restaurant using the front door, while Kerry, who put on blue jeans, a black and white blouse, and a denim jacket, chose the back door.

One of the videos shared by TMZ portrayed a paparazzi asking Kerry whether or not she was working with Michelle on a Netflix project.

Just as many celebrities do when they don’t want to share anything, Kerry just asked the man random things and gave coy answers. Even though she intended to distract by answering random things, it only made their reunion more suspicious.

TMZ finally revealed that the week before that reunion, Michelle went to the Gjelina restaurant in Venice where she enjoyed another high-end lunch. However, it is not known who she was dining with.

According to Vanity Fair, Barack and Michelle’s contract with Netflix was signed by March, when the couple shared a press release confirming the news themselves.

They admitted that one of the simple joys of their time while in the White House was meeting so many ‘fascinating’ people from all over the world and helping them to share their experiences with a wider audience.

‘That’s why Michelle and I are so excited to partner with Netflix—we hope to cultivate and curate the talented, inspiring, creative voices who are able to promote greater empathy and understanding between peoples, and help them share their stories with the entire world,’ announced the Obamas.

An upcoming project between Kerry, Michelle, and Barack is very likely to happen. Only time will tell what it would be about.
