The 41-year-old singer and television personality, Tamar Braxton, started the 4th of July celebrations a day early and showed off her body in a photo shared to Instagram.
Braxton can be seen barefoot and wearing a Fashion Nova one-piece swimsuit with blue and green leaf print, and wrote in the caption: 'In that [Fashion Nova] for the 4th.'
She was also wearing a blue-and-green cover that reached to the floor and completed the look with gold bracelets and headband also featuring a leave design.
Braxton shaved her head last year in October, shortly after leaving her husband of nine years, Streamline Records executive Vincent Herbert. Read more on our Twitter @amomama_usa.
According to Inquisitr, Braxton struggles with body dysmorphia. It's been a lifelong battle, and she discusses it frankly, mainly through her social media accounts.
Earlier this week, she shared a throwback photo from the mid-nineties, which showed Braxton with a toned stomach and wearing a pair of white pants and matching crop top.
Back then, Braxton thought she was fat and explained in the caption that she 'still struggles with body dysmorphic to this day.'
'A record executive told me I was too fat at 11 to be more of "commercial artists," only to end up having big R&B hits today!'

She added that expectations placed on the family of entertainers led to 'major over the top family issues.' It took years before they realized that they are fine the way they are.
She is the youngest of six Braxton children and began singing when she was still a toddler. Tamar and four of her sisters signed their first record deal in the late eighties, and their first collective single was Good Life.
More recently, Tamar made an appearance in her sister Toni's music video, titled Long As I Live.
