Houston's body was found in her bathtub, and the cause of death was determined to be 'drowning due to coronary artery disease and cocaine intoxication.' Traces of marijuana and Xanax were also found in her system.

On Thursday, Jada Pinkett Smith shared a throwback photo on Instagram. She explained in the caption that it's the only pictures she has of Whitney and that she was pregnant with Jaden at the time.

Houston attended Pinkett Smith's baby shower and was described as 'so sweet, fierce and real.' Read more on Twitter @amomama_usa.

'She was so down to earth, that’s what I admired about her most. If only we could have celebrated her more while she was here.'

Bobbi Kristina Brown, Whitney's daughter, was only five years old when Pinkett Smith's photos were taken. Unfortunately, she died in a similar manner as her mother.

In 2015, Brown's body was found face-down in her bathtub. Her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, performed CPR while waiting for paramedics to arrive.

Brown was rushed to a hospital in Georgia and doctors initially confirmed that no traces of drugs were found in her bloodstream, however, tests revealed that her brain function was diminished.

According to Daily Mail, she was placed in a medically induced coma and passed away six months later. The cause of death was classified as 'undetermined.'
