Mariah Carey shares video where she interacts playfully with Instagram fans
The singing sensation was left clutching onto her dress with her hands after pulling out the pin that was holding it all together.
Like many proud Americans, singer Mariah Carey took to social media to share her Independence Day wishes with her fans and followers.
However, what began as a patriotic message turned into a tongue-in-cheek interaction with her fans, one in which the singer made a bold move on her attire and barely managed to keep her dress on.
Carey was wearing a silky wrap-around dress with an abstract pattern of red, blue and white for the occasion. She was seated in what appeared to be a makeup room, perched on a chair in front of a full-sized mirror.

In the video, Carey candidly checked if the videographer was ready for her before greeting her viewers. The singer shared that she was backstage with her crew making preparations for her upcoming live performance.
Carey revealed that she had popped in to wish her followers a happy Independence Day before the rehearsal of the show.
The One Sweet Day singer appeared confident as she spoke into the camera and suddenly pulled out a clip from the center of her flowing dress, quipping that it was time to get rid of the clothespin.
The clip was seemingly the only thing holding the dress together, and as soon as it was pulled out, Carey grabbed onto her dress over her chest, trying to keep it from slipping away.
The embarrassed but amused celebrity hastily walked away from the camera as the person shooting the video chuckled in response to Carey’s act.
The singer, known for her chartbusters and her perfect five-octave pitch, revealed her playful side on the video as she could be heard giggling at the aftermath of her bold move on camera.
The footage went viral on social media, with around half-a-million views.
Known for being one of the most versatile singers, Carey has won the prestigious Grammy Awards five times and has been recognized as ‘Songbird Supreme’ in the Guinness Book of World Records.
