According to The Herald, he doesn’t talk much about his experience because it hurts him too much. He also doesn’t want his son to relive the period.

Michael Bublé, 42, shared about his journey when his son Noah, 4½, was diagnosed with cancer. The star had to watch his eldest child go through treatments for 18 months.

“It’s my boy. He’s a superhero, he doesn’t need to relive it over and again. But I’ve been to hell. And you know what, hell seems like a really nice place to vacation compared to where we’ve been,” the star said.

In a November 2016 Facebook post, the parents revealed Noah’s cancer diagnosis. “I truly thought I’d never come back to music,” Bublé recently shared.

“I’ve been to hell. I don’t talk about the whole story, not even to my friends because it hurts too much.”

He revealed that family is what mattered to him the most. Despite having thought about quitting music, this past Saturday, the singer delighted fans when he returned to the stage for 80,000 fans at Dublin’s Croke Park stadium.

Even as he went back to his career, Bublé shared that because it was cancer they had to keep monitoring it. He explained that he wouldn’t be doing music again if his son wasn’t okay.

Noah’s treatment reportedly ended in March 2017. His son’s battle has also given the singer a new perspective on life.

He shared that he no longer lived in fear. What he has been through has allowed him to rekindle his love of music.

Bublé recalled sitting in the hospital room thinking how he’d once worried about record sales and other trivial things. He shared that his new album would be him going back to making music for a world that needed love, romance, and laughter.
