Justin Bieber 'engaged' to Alec Baldwin's model niece

Justin Bieber, who rose to stardom thanks to his music videos on Youtube, has become engaged to Hailey Baldwin and his parents couldn't be prouder of him.

It is believed that the 24-year-old proposed to the 21-year-old model on Saturday, in the Bahamas, and that the moment was witnessed by several onlookers who were ordered to not use their phones by Bieber's security staff.

The engagement was announced by TMZ, who claimed that the couple was at a restaurant doing salsa dancing when Bieber got on one knee and proposed to Hailey with a beautiful diamond ring.

Although no official statement has been issued yet, the news seems to be confirmed by Jeremy Bieber, who took to his Instagram account to share a picture of his son with a sunset as background.

The caption read 'proud is an understatement' and 'excited for the next chapter.' Bieber's mother also used social media to express joy over the great news, writing the word 'love' seven times in a Twitter post.

Ever since Bieber and Hailey reunited about a month ago, they have been flaunting their love all over New York City. Last week, they were spotted strolling through a Brooklyn garden while sharing several public displays of affection.

Last month, they were also seen kissing at Domino Park, in Brooklyn, with their arms gently wrapped around each other near New York City's East River.

The couple split up in 2016 and, on October 2017, there were rumors that Bieber and Selena Gomez, who he dated from 2010 to 2012, had gone back together, but nothing was confirmed.

Now, after one month of dating after the meant-to-be reunion, it seems that Bieber and Hailey are planning on taking the next step in the relationship.
