Proud dad Lance Gross warms hearts with first photo of newborn son

Lance Gross’s week has been filled with celebrations. First, his birthday, and then, the birth of his second child with wife Rebecca Jefferson. The proud dad shared the first photo of his baby and fans’ can’t handle the cuteness.

The “Crisis” star became a father for the second time in the early hours of July 10, when he welcomed a baby boy with Jefferson that, according to an Instagram post, is named Lennon Loris Gross.

“Celebrated my Born Day on the 8th and today I’m celebrating my son’s! God is Good!,” he wrote in his Instagram caption.

Lance melted fans hearts by sharing an adorable black & white photo holding his newborn son and smiling brightly to the baby boy. In the picture, Gross is wearing a hospital garment that reads “Daddy” on the pocket.

“L.L. Kool G,” the proud dad wrote in the caption, making a joke with the initials of his son’s name and referencing rapper LL Cool J.

Fans took to the comment section to congratulate the actor on his new baby. Instagram user @only1risa wrote "What a blessing! A precious gift! Congratulations!!," @1lchentell said "That's one HOT Daddy! Congrats on the bambino!" and @am502015son added "Congratulations and best of luck with your new family member!!!"

Gross and his wife married back in 2015, and they also have a gorgeous three-year-old daughter, Berkeley Brynn. They first announced Becca’s second pregnancy on Easter weekend with a beautiful family portrait on Instagram that showed the fashion stylist’s baby bump.

Speaking about fatherhood after Berkeley’s birth three years ago, Lance told Essence:

“Some of the most rewarding experiences being a father is being able to be present. Spending as many moments as I can with my little girl. It’s amazing how things shift from worrying about yourself and what’s next to this new life you’ve created.”

Referring to his beautiful wife, Lance called her his partner in crime. He said:

“She’s beyond a best friend. She’s such a cool individual that isn’t afraid to march to the beat of her own drum. I find a lot of inspiration in that. She doesn’t sweat small stuff and keeps a positive outlook from A to Z. We clicked immediately. That’s my type of energy.”
