New Royal baby on the way as Grace Kelly's granddaughter announces pregnancy
The royal family of Monaco is expecting a new entry to their family by the end of summer.
Charlotte Casiraghi, the eldest daughter of the Princess Caroline of Monaco, has just announced that she is expecting a baby with film producer Dimitri Rassam.
Casiraghi chose to announce her pregnancy by revealing her baby bump during the recent Monte Carlo International Horse Jumping events.
As reported by People, the baby is expected to arrive in late summer, or early September. It would be the second child for both Casiraghi and fiancé Rassam, but it is the first with each other.
Casiraghi is a mother to a four-year-old boy with comedian Gad Elmaleh, and Dmitri has a daughter with his ex-wife, model Masha Novoselova. Read more about the Royal Family on our Twitter account @amomama_usa.

Casiraghi’s baby will be the seventh grandchild for Princess Carolina of Monaco, the fifth and sixth grandchildren being the sons of her two brothers Andrea and Pierre respectively, who were born weeks apart in April and May of 2018.
For Dmitri’s mother, acclaimed French actress and famed Bond girl Carole Bouquet, this will be only her second grandchild.

Casiraghi is the granddaughter of famous actor Grace Kelly, who married Prince Rainer III, to become a part of the royal family of Monaco. She is eleventh in line for the throne.
Casiraghi is not as conventional or traditional in her life choices as most other royal kids are usually expected to be.

As per her uncle, Prince Albert of Monaco, Casiraghi is more independent than most of her siblings, and that is not something anyone bothers about in the family. The couple got engaged earlier this year in March.
They were expected to marry sometime during the summer, but reports now suggest that they may hold a civil ceremony in December instead, followed by a family wedding the next spring.
