Theresa Caputo undergoes surgery amid divorce drama

Television personality Theresa Caputo is most famously known as a medium on her show, Long Island Medium. She recently underwent knee surgery.

Caputo shared a post-op photo on her Instagram feed and wrote in the caption that the 'before and after knee surgery' doesn't feel so bad.

She received more than 38,000 likes from her 664,000 followers and added the hashtags 'knee surgery' and 'long island medium.' Read more on our Twitter account, @amomama_usa.

Earlier today she informed her viewers that she 'got frostbite on [her] knee from the ice cuff because' she forgot it remove it.

Her family had been treating her to reruns of the reality show 90-day Fiance, and they were 'obsessed' with watching the latest episodes.

As reported by Life and Style, the surgery followed one week after the reality television medium filed for divorce from her husband of nearly three decades, Larry Caputo.

The couple announced in December last year that their marriage has come to an end and they chose to go their separate ways instead.

They aired their final head-to-head on The Long Island Medium, and she told viewers that her husband would shut down communication which forced her to pull back as well, according to Pop Culture.

Her husband, in turn, admitted that the neglect had an effect on him as well, and he was angry about not getting the same attention from Theresa as in previous years.

It hurt him when he realized that she wasn't 'making an effort' and that she didn't even confide in him anymore. Their relationship just deteriorated from there.

They exchanged vows back in 1989 and have two children together, the 27-year-old Larry Junior and 23-year-old Victoria.

Larry Junior could be seen in some of her recent Instagram posts and has been visiting his mother while she recovers from the surgery.
