Country singer and actress Jana Kramer shares tearful recount of her miscarriages
As Jana Kramer expected her second child, she released the painful history of her multiple losses.
Country singer Jana Kramer and husband Mike Caussin are expecting their second child together, after three years of marriage.
In an honest and open vlog released on her official Youtube channel, Kramer discussed how the couple overcame multiple losses and marriage issues to come to this point in their life.
In the video, titled Losses, Kramer opened up about the five miscarriages, the couple had gone through in the past, before they conceived their first kid Jolie Rae and now, before her second pregnancy.
The couple discussed if they should share their rollercoaster pregnancy ride with the world but eventually came to the conclusion that they should. Read more about Jana Kramer and Mike Caussin on our Twitter account @amomama_usa.
The couple believed that opening up about their experience would spread hope to couples around the world; that even if they suffered some losses, it would eventually turn out to be okay.
After marriage, the couple had difficulty conceiving, and so opted for IVF. They had only three viable embryo's available of which they chose to implant two. However, that pregnancy ended up in a very early loss.
Soon after, the couple got pregnant naturally, with baby Jolie Rae, who is now a healthy 2-year-old.
Kramer mentioned here how lucky she was to have conceived naturally and delivered a healthy baby girl after a blessed full-term pregnancy.
After Jolie Rae, the actress got pregnant twice again naturally, however, both the pregnancies miscarried within the first trimester, with the second one terminating in October 2017.
Giving IVF another chance, the couple got pregnant with their last embryo, but they lost that too in February 2018.
Having three miscarriages within two years took a heavy toll on the couple, as they battled other issues like infedility.
The NFL star husband Caussin even separated from Kramer briefly, before going into rehab, and then returned to the family. With her current pregnancy, Kramer is extra careful and wishes for is a healthy baby, be it a boy or a girl.
