Reese Witherspoon appears on set in bright pink 80's outfit

On Monday, the star cast of the hit series Big Little Lies was seen filming for the second season. The cast appeared to be shooting a costume party scene while dressed for the 60's and 80's eras.

Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman got dressed up in some funky outfits for the scene according to Entertainment Tonight. Big Little Lies season 2 is set to air in 2019.

This week in Los Angeles actress Reese Witherspoon appeared dressed in 80's attire while Nicole Kidman looked like a blast from the past as she wore a color-blocked dress and pink go-go boots. They were working on a costume party scene for Big Little Lies (BLL).

Fans of the show will recall how the season 1 finale ended with another costume party. For the latest costume party scene, Witherspoon wore tight fuchsia leggings, a sparkling silver top, and a pink and red track jacket.

Her blonde hair was curled and pinned down along her ears. Kidman, in turn, had more of a 60's feel to her costume and her hair was kept straight, long, and flowed down to her shoulders.

Both stars were also captured looking normal before getting dressed for their roles. Witherspoon wore a flowing midi-skirt and white tank while Kidman went for skinny blue jeans with a puff-sleeved blouse.

Their co-stars Laura Dern, Shailene Woodley, and Zoe Kravitz were not seen on set on that day.

The creatives behind the series have just released a new show on HBO called Sharp Objects. It stars Amy Adams and was written by BLL writer Liane Moriarty.

The show premiered this month on July 8.
