Tamera Mowry reveals why she loves summer as she embraces a mother-and-son moment in a beautiful post.

Tamera Mowry is a happy mother-of-two who embraces her maternal role while juggling a career in television. In her most recent post, the newly-turned 40-year-old delights in quality time with her older son Aden proving there’s nothing more rewarding than motherhood.

Dressed in a black-and-white striped dress, Tamera appeared to be running after her little boy who looked directly to the camera as he strode ahead of his mother along the street of their family’s neighborhood. In a white T-shirt and matching shorts, the young curly-haired lad was clearly giving his smiling mom quite the exercise.

“Ah. Summer,” Tamera began her caption before explaining why she loves the season so much.

“I love summer because it’s the time when I can have the most quality and quantity time with my children. As Aden gets older, we can really enjoy mommy and son dates. I think it’s important for each parent to spend that one on one time with each child. This boy keeps me on my toes. #grateful”

Tamera who’s also a mother to 2-year-old daughter Ariah and wife to Adam Housley was equally grateful when she celebrated her 40th birthday along with her twin sister Tia Mowry-Hardrict with a 70’s-themed bash. The close siblings donned bell bottoms and rocked curly hair as they entertained family and friends during their milestone party.

Weeks before, Tamera’s husband also surprised her with a beautiful birthday party in Napa. In her post commemorating the event, she was “grateful for every experience, every lesson; the good and the bad that had brought me to this very moment.” The television star also looked forward to the new chapter that’s ahead “with an open heart, faith and unconditional love.”
