Whoopi Goldberg shut down Judge Jeanine Pirro on 'The View'
On Thursday, The View invited Judge Jeanine Pirro who hosts Fox News’ Justice with Judge Jeanine, to promote her new book. The book is called Liars, Leakers, and Liberals: The Case Against the Anti-Trump Conspiracy.
However, instead of talking about the book, co-host Whoopi Goldberg and Pirro ended up in a screaming match as their views clashed. The former judge was eventually kicked off the stage.
Things got quite tense on Thursday on the set of The View. The interview with former Judge Janine Pirro started off fine with the Justice with Judge Jeanine host defending President Donald Trump.
She blamed former President Barack Obama for any current problem in the US. Things spiraled out of control when, at one point, Pirro pointed at co-host Whoopi Goldberg and accused her of having “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”

Shocked and angered, Goldberg asked Pirro if she just pointed at her. “Listen, I don’t have Trump derangement, let me tell you what I have. I’m tired of people starting a conversation with ‘Mexicans are liars and rapists,’” the co-host responded.
Goldberg then tried to bring the discussion back to Pirro’s views, asking her, “How long has the Deep State been there and who’s running it?” Instead of answering, the former Judge and the co-host argued further.
“Listen, I’m 62 years old, there have been a lot of people in office that I didn’t agree with, but I have never, ever seen anything like this. I’ve never seen anybody whip up such hate. I’ve never seen anybody be so dismissive … What I suffer from is the inability to figure out how to fix this. That’s my issue.”

Pirro told the co-host that the horrible thing was when people who shouldn’t be in the US end up murdering the children of American citizens. Goldberg retorted that the actual horrible thing was when “the President of the United States whips up people to beat the hell out of people!”
The View’s co-host eventually got fed up and asked Pirro to “say goodbye” because she was done. The camera quickly cut to a commercial break.
The show returned after the break without the former Judge and Goldberg shared her closing thoughts. “So, you saw me do something I very rarely do. I very rarely lose my cool and I’m not proud of it, I don’t like it,” she said to the camera.
However, she revealed that she didn’t like being accused of being hysterical because that was one of the things tried to avoid on the show. She then wished everyone a great day.
A source close to the show shared that Pirro had walked into the studio ready for a fight because Ana Navarro was the guest co-host. Navarro is a frequent commentator on CNN and The View.
The insider also revealed that Goldberg reached out to Pirro after the show was taped but the former Judge didn’t return her call. Hours after the segment aired, Pirro made an appearance on The Sean Hannity Show where she claimed Goldberg had escalated the argument.
She also stated that the co-host had kicked her out of the building while screaming at her, “Get the [expletive] out of this building.” On Wednesday, Trump tweeted about the “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”
