'L&HHA' star Karlie Redd gets engaged to mysterious boyfriend

Karlie Redd gets the biggest surprise of her life when her months-long boyfriend proposes during the launching of her latest single. See her priceless reaction along with the special box her ring came in.

Karlie Redd was floored when her mysterious boyfriend surprised her with a marriage proposal on the same night she launched her new single ‘Ferrari Karlie.’

The singer was at the Atlanta club Buckethead Loft busy with the release of her latest track when her boyfriend Mo got down on one knee and surprised her with the ring. And while the sparkler was an attraction in itself, the box it came with was pretty special. It included a small LED screen that flashed photos.

In the video covering the surprise engagement, Karlie jumps in excitement on a couch as spectators cheered the couple on. She was evidently astonished but happy with the sweet gesture and couldn’t stop staring at her nine-carat diamond ring. The couple kissed and hugged after she said yes, proof that despite dating for just a few months, their love is for keeps.

Not much is known about Karlie’s soon-to-be husband except that he goes by the name Arkansas Mo on Instagram and is the first man the singer dated since breaking up with producer Sean Garrett. The couple has been discreet about their relationship but it appears that’s all over now as they celebrate their engagement and flaunt it to the world.

Karlie’s brand new fiancé told Freddy TV he was the “happiest man in the world” and feels lucky because “there’s a lot of people that’d like to be in my place right now. A lot of people,” he stressed.

Meanwhile, this also probably comes as a surprise to Karlie who a year earlier confessed she was tired of “picking the wrong man.” In a teaser clip for ‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,’ she said,

“The first six months are good, and then I come to find out, this man’s either married, cheating — this is the reason why I’m scared to get married.”
