Robin Williams’ daughter makes heartbreaking post about her dad
The late actor and comedian, Robin Williams, would have celebrated his 67th birthday last week and his daughter reminisced about his life on social media.
On July 19, Zelda Williams shared a photo of her and Williams, and wrote in the caption: 'Everyone who has dealt with loss knows the pain of certain anniversaries.'
She added that these 'moments full of memory [...] come round like clockwork and usurp all others.' Read more on our Twitter, @amomama_usa.
Zelda said it is almost impossible to prepare for these anniversaries, and her father's birthday week is the hardest for her, so she tries to limit her time on social media.
Even though she appreciates all the messages of support, it becomes overwhelming at times. She prefers to celebrate his birthday in private.
Instead of sending messages, Zelda suggests that fans can volunteer at homeless shelters and give back to their communities in his name.
Williams supported several charity organizations, including Reeve Foundation, David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and Challenged Athletes Foundation.
Fans and followers can donate to any other organization as well and spread love and kindness around. She added: 'And creatively swear a lot.'
'Every time you do, somewhere out there in our vast, weird universe, he’s giggling with you... or giving a particularly fat bumblebee its wings.'
