'Power' star Naturi Naughton metls hearts with sweet photo from daughter's 1st birthday party

While it's hard to believe that it's been a year since "Power" star Naturi Naughton gave birth to her daughter Zuri, she celebrated her little girl's first birthday last weekend, with friends and family by her side.

On July 19, 2017, Naturi and her longtime boyfriend, Ben, welcomed their daughter Zuri into their lives. Throughout her pregnancy, the beautiful actress updated her fans about what has been happening, up until her birth.

In a previous interview with People, Naughton shared that her pregnancy opened a new chapter in her life, and has made her stronger and more excited about life in general. While the pregnancy came as a surprise for her, she says that it has become much more purposeful.

Before giving birth, the couple predicted that they were going to have a boy, but ended up being proven wrong when her ultrasound showed that she was actually going to give birth to a daughter.

Now that her daughter is a year old, she made sure to celebrate Zuri's birthday in a special way, with a pink Disney themed party. The actress prepared several pastries for the celebration, including a tiered cake shaped as Minnie Mouse's head, with her famous bow adoring the other decorations and pastries.

To match her adorable party theme, Princess Zuri was dressed in a multi-colored sleeveless dress with lace detailing, and a blue headband. Meanwhile, the doting mother chose to wear a patterned off-shoulder top, jeans, and a red headband that matched her daughter's.

After the birthday party, Naturi greeted lovely Zuri a happy birthday, saying that her life has never been the same since her daughter arrived. She also made sure to thank God for July 19, 2017, the day her life changed for the better.
