Beyoncé and Jay-Z are one of the wealthiest couples in the world. For that reason, several people don’t understand why their daughter Blue Ivy is often portrayed with a messy bun.

In late June, Jay-Z and Blue went on a father-and-daughter outing to a park in Berlin. The man chose red sweatpants and jacket and a white shirt while Blue was wearing a white ensemble.

The images, shared by The Shade Room’s Instagram account, were cute as both of them seemed to be having a good time together. However, several people took to the comment section to attack the couple for Blue’s hair.

One of them was Instagram user @sumn_seriouss, who pointed out that Jay-Z and Beyoncé had too much money to let their daughter be ‘nappy’ all the time.

@simone_royalty chimed in and said that her hair was unacceptable and that nobody could change her mind. @simply.ariii said that she was angry because Blue’s mother was someone as important and relevant as Beyoncé and her hair looked bad.

Even though messing with children’s hair might be seen as something immature by a lot of people, it was not the first time that Beyoncé and Jay-Z have gotten backlash over Blue’s hair.

In 2014, Jasmine Tolliver made a Change.org petition for the famous couple to take better care of their daughter’s hair. Celebritist reported that the appeal was titled Comb Her Hair.

The description read that it was ‘disturbing’ to see that Blue’s hair suffered lack of moisture and that Beyoncé and Jay-Z have failed several times at doing her hair.

That petition was signed by more than 2,500 people. Some of them even shared their thoughts on the comment section, admitting that any child whose mother spends thousands of dollars on her hair monthly should live looking like a sheep.

‘I hate when a mother looks like a million dollars with their hair all done and the child looks like they haven't seen a comb since they were born,’ said one of the people who signed the petition.

Thankfully, not every comment in The Shade Room’s post was negative. @monica.jae admitted that it was all part of Beyoncé plan to build North’s self-esteem. According to the user, Queen B knows that her daughter will be under the media’s pressure because of her parents, so she had to teach her to be confident in herself.

@cousinchris86 added that those who blame the couple for North’s hair should relax and grow up as even the ‘mosquitos’ in their backyard have better credit than all of them.
