After 21 years of marriage, Duane Martin and Tisha Campbell-Martin have called it quits. Now, it seems Duane is asking the court to provide him with spousal support now that they are going their separate ways.

Duane and Tisha are up for one hell of a battle over spousal support after The Blast obtained court documents of Martin requesting for support after ending their 21-year marriage. This request was made to counter Tisha's original divorce complaint filed back in February, where she asked for spousal support. It is only in matters of finance that the estranged couple is arguing, however, as they are both on the same page when it comes to the joint custody of their two children, Ezekiel, 8, and Xen, 16.

As part of her divorce complaint, Tisha had accused Duane of hiding and misappropriating money. However, Duane describes the allegation as "patently false".

In 2016, the couple was accused of hiding $50,000 from the trustee who was handling their bankruptcy and demanded both Duane and Tisha be sanctioned for this. This might have been the last straw that finally ended the couple's decades-long relationship, much to the disappointment of their fans.

The Martins got married in 1996, and have secretly been separated since December 2016. While they have been separated for quite a while, they kept it under wraps and Tisha only announced that she was finally filing for divorce in an emotional statement that she shared last February.

“After 27 years of being together and two amazing children, it pains me to announce that I’ve filed for divorce,” she said. “It’s an emotional time and I graciously ask for privacy for me, our children and the rest of our family.”

Soon after the statement made headlines, the couple tried to put up a front that regardless of their separation, they would continue being good friends. Duane called Tina his "BFF" when he was told of the news that she is doing a show with Robin Roberts, and he was doing work on the upcoming "Bad Boys" spinoff with Gabrielle Union. She replied by saying "separate but one united front no matter what!!!"

We sure hope they remain one united front after this gruesome court battle!
