Ismael Duarte, who was shopping with his wife and 15-year-old daughter at the store, saw that the man was being suspicious and observed his actions right before attacking him near the checkout lane.

The man who allegedly took photos was Jorge A. Ibarra Jr., 29.

Duarte said he saw him bend down, with his phone in hand, and supposedly angled the phone towards his daughter’s skirt.

As revealed in Target’s surveillance footage, Duarte’s description of Ibarra’s actions was accurate.

As soon as Duarte was sure of what the man was doing, he attacked him and kicked his phone out of his grasp.

The phone flew across the floor. Ibarra attempted to get his phone back, but Duarte was quick to push him away.

The suspect fled the scene, and Duarte chased him. He was able to tackle Ibarra, but according to KTLA, Duarte let him escape.

Although, the 15-year-old’s father was able to get a picture of the license plate.

Soon after, the family reported the incident to police. On the next day, Ibarra was arrested for being a suspect of invasion of privacy, as revealed by the Cypress Police Department.

Convicted at the Orange County Jail, Ibarra was booked with $25,000 bail.

Duarte’s daughter was not Ibarra’s only victim. Another surveillance footage from Target showed Ibarra trying to take a picture of a woman. Ibarra was seen bending down behind her as he seemingly snapped a photo up her skirt.

According to the police, Ibarra allegedly did the same thing earlier at another Target store in Cerritos on the same day.
