Todd Chrisley shares video of biracial granddaughter playing with her aunt's boyfriend in the pool
Reality TV star and real estate mogul, Todd Chrisley shared a video of his cute granddaughter, Chloe Chrisley, having some swimming pool fun with her aunt's boyfriend. Unfortunately, a couple of internet trolls snuck into the comments and managed to make it about race.
In the recording, Chloe is held by Savannah's boyfriend, Nic Kerdiles, while her grandfather records. Kerdiles, a professional hockey player, gives the six-year-old a playful toss in the air before lifting her out of the pool towards Todd. We can tell she's pleased with her delightful giggle.
Todd and Kerdiles shared the cute video on their individual Instagram pages, attracting hundreds of comments, most of which bordered on how cute Chloe and Kerdiles were:
“It's as good as done UNCLE @nickerdiles You just stole another Chrisley heart! @savannahchrisley he's such a keeper!”- @kathy_lovinglife
“So sweet. That laugh/ giggle is priceless”- @meaghanmaurer
“She is getting sooo big awww and still beautiful”- @sunshine312012
“Aw, I love how attentive he was to her & helped lift her up out of the water. This mama’s heart loves that! Says a lot about a man who isn’t a fathers yet and still has a place in his heart to care for them. #keeper [sic]”- @_jamie_lanay
“Chloe is the cutest! And it looks like Savannah has found a keeper!”- @absolutelyarecelly
But the streak did not last, thanks to racist trolls that were more concerned about Chloe's biracial status. One particular user went as far as dropping comments on both pages. The user trolled:
"Black women worship white men because they want mixed children. I wasn’t surprised when I found out that she has a black treacherous mother"- @tyrone908z
In a world where such people exist, Chloe is lucky to have a family that loves her. Grandpa Todd is besotted with the little one who is the outcome of an illicit affair between his older son, Kyle and a married woman. The Chrisley family has had custody of Chloe since she was six months old; Kyle struggles with addiction, so he was ruled unfit to care for her.
Speaking to People about Chloe's comeback to the family reality tv show, "Chrisley Knows Best", Todd admits that he would love to see an improvement in the relationship between Chloe and her father, Kyle. Kyle is Todd's son from a previous marriage.
