The Blast: Angelina Jolie is planning something new against Brad Pitt

Apart from child support, Angelina Jolie reportedly has plans to file a palimony lawsuit against her estranged husband, Brad Pitt.

The Blast revealed that Jolie allegedly wants more money from Pitt and wants half of the money the actor has earned, not just during their short marriage, but everything he earned over the entire course of their 12-year relationship.

Pitt and Jolie became an item in 2005, but it was only until 2014 when they officially tied the knot.

Supposedly, Jolie is only entitled to Pitt’s fortune and assets that he acquired from the moment they were married on August 14, 2014, up until their separation on September 15, 2016.

The media publication suggested that Jolie plans to file a Marvin claim. It is a name derived from the famous court battle involving the actor Lee Marvin.

The claim would permit Jolie to say that everything she and Pitt earned during the span of their relationship should be equally divided between both parties.

In California, common-law marriage is not recognized, which means Jolie would be obligated to file another civil claim.

Recently, the estranged couple has been involved in a public court battle involving their finances.

On August 7, Jolie’s legal team filed documents in the divorce case alleging that Pitt never paid for any “meaningful” child support since their separation.

The next day, Pitt’s team argued and stated in his court documents that he “adamantly disputes the contention that he has not paid significant child support.”

Pitt shot back and suggested that he loaned the actress $8 million to help her in buying her current home.

He also said that he gave more than $1.3 million in “bills for the benefit of [Jolie] and the kids.”

Reports revealed that Pitt’s current net worth is $240 million and Jolie’s is $160 million.

Before his marriage with Jolie, Pitt was previously married for five years to Friends star, Jennifer Anniston, who recently separated from her husband, actor Justin Theroux.
