Veteran actor John McCook jokes after his major surgery
Fans of the "Bold and the Beautiful" will be glad to hear that veteran actor John McCook is recovering well and in fine spirits after his hip replacement surgery ion the 6th of August.
McCook, 74 was submitted to the procedure in which doctors surgically remove a hip joint afflicted with arthritis and replace it with an artificial joint made from metal and plastic components.
In a Twitter post, McCook announced that he had had a hip replacement and his daughter had won a new role.
“Molly and I both got new parts today: Last Man Standing for her, a hip replacement for me!!”

McCook entertains nurses on his way to surgery
The actor happily declared that both he and his daughter had new "parts". His was a new hip, Molly McCook got a new role in the sitcom "Last Man Standing."
McCook's wife, Laurette Spang declared on social media that she was proud of her husband and that even in the stressful moments before surgery, he was joking and entertaining his nurses.
