Jaleel white shares sweet photo with daughter in white T-shirt & headphones on her 9th birthday

Jaleel White, or “Steve Urkel” as many of us know him, shared a playful photo of himself and his daughter, Samaya White, as she turned 9. One can tell from the picture that the two share a close bond.

In the photo, Jaleel opted for a white sleeveless running shirt paired with pink shorts and a face cap worn to the back. He also had on tinted RayBans. Samaya also wore a white T-shirt bearing the inscription “DOPE.” Her curly hair was weaved in with blue extensions, and she held a pair of white headphones to her ears.

She is pictured closing her eyes as though listening to some cool track, and mischievously putting out a warning hand to her actor dad. Jaleel’s heartwarming caption that accompanies the post is a reflection of the love he has for his daughter. He told his followers:

Samaya, who is the result of Jaleel’s relationship with ex-girlfriend, Bridget Hardy, is a daddy’s girl as can be seen from her father’s Instagram. Recently, the actor took to his page to update followers on an ice-cream trip he made with Samaya and her friend.

In the picture, Jaleel is seen in a group selfie with his daughter and her friend. The actor held on to a cup of ice cream and appeared to be taking the shot with his other hand. Not much of their outfits can be seen, but he chose a black face-cap for the outing.

Other pictures on the award-winning actor’s page also testify to the fact that he and his look-alike daughter are best buddies- from vacation trips to school runs and baseball games.

Jaleel had a nasty public breakup with Samaya’s mom in 2012, but that does not appear to have soured his relationship with his daughter in any way.
