Darius McCrary's new Instagram post with his little girl showed how much they look alike, and how deep the bond between them is.
Mother-daughter moments and twinning snaps are the rage these days. But one father, Darius McCray, showed that every general rule must have an exception.
The actor's latest Instagram post showed that father-daughter moments are also a thing. He shared a cozy photo of himself and his daughter, Zoey, spending time together.

THE BEST BOSS EVER
The snap showed the two in a dimly lit room, smiling for the camera with their cheeks touching. The resemblance between father and daughter was evident, and proud dad captioned the post:
"@Zoeyzanai, you're the best boss ever. LYU [kisses] from your other number 1."
The father-daughter moment prompted a lot of heartfelt comments from the actor's followers. One person described him as an "Adorable man," while another called his child, "Beautiful."
LIFE OFF-SCREEN WASN'T SO GOOD
One person commented with three heart-shaped emojis, adding that children make life worth living. Another wrote that the two are so cute, while one person noted that they are "Glowing."
The court ordered the actor to pay $29 monthly for child support as he was reportedly out of a job while the divorce was pending
McCrary shares his little girl with his ex-wife, Tammy Brawner. While the man who played "Eddie Winslow" on "Family Matters" had a stable family life on the show, things were not the same off-screen.
HIS EX-WIFE WON
The actor's relationship with his daughter's mother was tumultuous and ended in a nasty divorce and custody battle. Brawner filed for divorce in 2017.
While the divorce was pending, McCrary got accused of dislocating Zoey's arm by her mother. She included the claim in the court documents for the separation and asked for sole custody.
IT WASN'T ALL BAD
When the divorce got finalized in 2019, Brawner got her desire. She got both legal and physical custody of the little girl, and the actor got weekly visitation rights.
Also, McCrary had to undergo random drug and alcohol tests to determine his fitness to be around his daughter. His visitation for the first 20 weeks got monitored, and he had to attend a year of batterer's classes.
The court ordered the actor to pay $29 monthly for child support as he was reportedly out of a job while the divorce was pending. McCrary has not starred in a lot of productions since "Family Matters."
He had a seven-episode gig on Fox's "Star," but nothing afterward. Things seem to have changed since then, as the actor appears to be doing better, and taking his role as a father seriously.
