The British entertainment industry is mourning the loss of Caroline Flack, a 40-year-old TV presenter who was found dead Sunday at her home in London.

Flack, who was often the object of criticism on British tabloids and social media for her love life choices, was gearing up for a trial for allegedly assaulting her boyfriend, Lewis Burton, back in December 2019.

People would call her “pervert” on the street, and some of the fans of the British group went as far as to create voodoo dolls using Flack’s face.

However, it is known that Burton, a former tennis player, didn’t want to present charges, and instead, it was the UK’s Crown Prosecution Service who decided to take Flack’s case to court.

Flack, who went public with Burton in August 2019, had her fair share of failed relationships in the past, some of them with high profile British celebrities of the likes of Harry Styles, Andrew Brady, and of course, Prince Harry.

CAROLINE’S STORY WITH THE PRINCE

Although the Prince never addressed the allegations of his involvement with Flack, paparazzi caught the pair spending some time together, and when the pics saw the public light, any chance of a possible romance went down the drain.

Flack opened up about the short-lived fling in her 2014 memoir book, “Storm in a C Cup.”

The late TV host explained that she met the Prince around 2009 through her friend Caroline Pinkham, a TV reporter. At the time, Harry was 25 and still serving in the British armed forces; Flack, then 29, had just landed the role as a co-host of “Gladiators.”

“I knew (Caroline Pinkham) was friends with Prince Harry, and I’d never met him, so I thought, ‘Oh that’s quite exciting’, and for a moment I perked up,” Flack wrote. “So, I was just sitting there, and he arrived with a few others in tow, and we all spent the evening chatting and laughing.”

After that, the pair met for a while until tabloids started to dig into their relationship, and royal fans started to question Flack as well.

WHY THEY ENDED THINGS SO FAST

“To meet a Prince is so unlikely, it would be weird not to acknowledge it,” she wrote in her book, and continued:

“However, once the story got out, that was it. We had to stop seeing each other. I was no longer Caroline Flack, TV presenter. I was Caroline Flack, Prince Harry’s bit of rough.”

Talking on “This Morning” after the release of her book, Flack was asked why she decided to acknowledge whatever happened with Harry after so many years of silence.

She explained that she had to talk about the effect it caused because “it was so intrusive” that fans started to stalk her and her relatives, even showing up at her parents and other family members’ homes.

Flack also made it clear at the time that she had contacted every person she mentioned in the book beforehand to let them know about the content.

However, she refused to share what the Prince, or any other of the individuals, said to her. “That’s between me and them,” she stated.

FLACK’S COMPLICATED LOVE LIFE

After Prince Harry, Flack was involved with former One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles. However, she was heavily criticized at the time because she was 31-year-old, and Styles was 17 at the time of their alleged relationship.

People would call her “pervert” on the street, and some of the fans of the British group went as far as to create voodoo dolls using Flack’s face.

In 2014, Flack was in a relationship with Sam Smith’s manager Jack Street which lasted almost a year. She was also linked to Style’s bandmate Niall Horan in 2015, although it was nothing serious.

Then, in 2018, Flack was briefly engaged to “Celebrity Big Brother” star Andrew Brady. However, the relationship came to an end just a few months after the proposal.

In 2019 alone, she was linked to “Strictly Come Dancing” professional AJ Pritchard, rugby player Danny Cipriani and her trainer, Bradley Simmons.

Lewis Burton was her last confirmed boyfriend.
